Moorea is just a 10-minute flight or less than an hour’s boat ride from the main island of Tahiti, a paradise of lush green rainforests, stunning lagoons and majestic mountains rising out of the Pacific Ocean. Moorea is the ideal destination for couples or families. The island offers many exciting activities. When you have finished relaxing, go diving, sailing, strolling through the pineapple fields or discover Polynesian cuisine.
Our experience
First stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, and even first visit. The Sofitel offers a beautiful view of the neighboring island of Tahiti.
The bungalows are very well appointed, even if the terraces have little privacy. Temae beach just a stone's throw away. I experienced the Polynesian evening with show/dance/fire on the beach before the big buffet. Really enjoyable. ( Maruia - Travel consultant).
