Vaitumu Village
Vaitumu, a land of crystal-clear springs, is home to eight bungalows. Over a hectare and a half of grounds, a lush garden flourishes, leading to a white sandy beach. Nestled in Moerai, close to Rurutu airport, this guesthouse offers a haven of greenery by the sea. Dive into the invigorating sea, watch the whales in season and enjoy fiery evenings on the sand.
Our experience
Vaitumu, facing the northwest beach, offers idyllic sunsets. Close to the airport and the Mitterrand cave, within walking distance (20-30 min). The bungalows surround the pool or face the sea. This lodge is more a small hotel than a guesthouse, offering high-quality buffet breakfasts and dinners. A la carte lunches, especially snacks, are practical and tasty. Our stay was pleasant, the staff attentive, the site magnificent, and the pool perfect for relaxing after a hike.

The 7 bungalows overlook the sea, garden, pool, mountain and inner courtyard. All have a patio, private bathroom, bath or shower with hot water, barbecue and terrace. Private entrance.
Fan, mosquito net, balcony, desk, wardrobe, lounge and dining area, board games... are available in each bungalow.
