Culinary immersion, Chef IMBERT

Culinary immersion, Chef IMBERT

À l’annonce de son arrivée au Brando, Chef Jean Imbert réfléchit :

Tonight, I've got chills. Ever since Marlon Brando's island in Polynesia became a hotel 8 years ago, I've dreamed of one day becoming its chef, and since then there hasn't been a person who hasn't asked me what my favorite hotel in the world is, without me replying.

"Le Brando"

Chef Jean Imbert sets up shop on the Tetiaroa atoll, offering a high-flying culinary experience in homage to the hotel’s history.

New tables in a dream setting.

Jean Imbert takes charge of the three restaurants at Le Brando hotel, located on the idyllic atoll of Tetiaroa.

The chef will be in charge of the menus at Bob’s Bar, the Beachcomber Café and Les Mutinés. The watchwords of this new mission for the Frenchman starred at the Plaza Athénée:

Getting back to local cuisine, working with producers and fishermen to make the most of what nature has to offer.

Pioneering fusion!

Marlon Brando himself was a man who loved good food, but he had an unwavering respect for the French quest for culinary excellence, whether it was comfort food or haute cuisine.

The Brando is certain that guests will appreciate the fusion of these two pioneers’ vision.

Every detail of Le Brando has been designed to preserve the atoll. The structures are built on stilts, hugging the landscape to respect the fragile ecosystem. Ecology is integrated and innovative, going far beyond administrative guidelines. This place is your home.

This special place is your home, your starting point for life-changing excursions across the atoll.

The Brando is more than just an all-inclusive holiday!

Each villa is a cocoon, a private space in Tetiaroa. Spread out over the motu Onetahi and slightly set back from the beach, 35 private villas and a private residence, each one a retreat within this sanctuary called Tetiaroa. Spaces are fluid, doors open to reveal passages to the outside, transitions between rooms are subtle, each revealing varied and new places.

Meeting with the atoll guardians
