Private Cultural Workshops - The Coco Gift
The Gift of Coconut is a sensory journey linking body and mind, under the aegis of the god of nature, Tāne. After learning how to extract the precious nut, we reveal the stories, secrets and virtues of coconut through ancestral practices used by Polynesians: the making of monoi with tiare flower and the kava ritual. Sharing, humility and generosity, we offer you the very essence of what characterizes the heart and soul of Fenua.
Our experience
It was an unforgettable experience. The mind-body connection guided by Tāne touched me deeply. Learning to extract coconuts and discovering Polynesian traditions opened my eyes to my rich and authentic culture. The kava ritual and the making of monoi were magical moments. Conditions :
Meeting places are subject to change without notice, depending on openings and availability. This is an open-air tour, so comfortable, casual footwear is highly recommended.
