Tetiaroa Cruise with Lunch
Discover Tetiaroa atoll for a day, departing from Tahiti. At dawn, enjoy breakfast on board, then set off for Marlon Brando’s atoll. Around 9 a.m., you will disembark at Tetiaroa and visit the ancient village and Bird Island. Your hostess will introduce you to the different species of birds: bristle and red-footed boobies, black-billed and yellow-billed terns, noddies and great frigatebirds. After the visit, a colorful lunch with refreshing drinks will be served on the beach. The rest of the afternoon can be spent swimming or walking on the beach, as you wish. From July to October, it is not uncommon to encounter whales on the crossing.
Our experience
It was an extraordinary experience! Rainui and Cathy were warm, funny and very professional hosts. Breakfast was hearty, instructions were clear, and although the crossing was choppy, we were prepared. Cathy guided us around Bird Island, sharing typical and amusing anecdotes. The meal that followed on the beach was simply divine (the best coconut fish I've had since my grandmother's), followed by a simply fabulous snorkeling session. It was a MAGICAL experience." The tour is strongly discouraged for pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or children under 5.
