Cultural Workshop - On the Footsteps of the Tapa
This experience traces the history of Tapa and its myth, making the traveler the heir to a celestial ancestral practice. Following the legend of Hina (Tahitian goddess), participants will be guided through every step of the process, from picking a root to painting a piece of tapa, from making colors from tinctorial plants to presenting the main motifs that make up our Polynesian tattoo repertoire. Everyone will leave with a unique, personalized creation.
Our experience
I enjoyed being guided through all the steps, from harvesting to artistic creation. I was delighted with the personalization of my tapa and Polynesian tattoo, and left with a unique and meaningful piece of art. I am going to suggest it to all my customers, it's really a wonderful activity for 2 or the whole family ( Stephanie - Travel consultant).
