Dive in Tahiti

Tahiti
Lagoon

Tahiti is a must for a successful introduction to scuba diving. It is here that you will take your first steps into the warm waters and rich marine life of Polynesia. The abundant and diverse dive sites offer an exceptional glimpse of the underwater fauna typical of the Polynesian islands, from colorful nudibranchs to majestic lemon sharks, schools of jacks and graceful leopard rays.

Notable dive sites in Tahiti include the fascinating Arue fault, an impressive drop-off starting just a few meters from the surface and sinking to depths of several dozen meters. Then there is La Source, so named because of a freshwater spring emerging 5-6 meters below the surface, clearly visible thanks to its column of bubbles.

La Vallée Blanche also stands out as one of Tahiti’s most spectacular dives, home to a varied fauna of sharks, jacks and triggerfish. What’s more, Tahiti offers ideal sites for first dives, located in the lagoon, sheltered from the waves, with shallow white-sand bottoms.

Dive center facilities include hot showers and individual lockers. Trips to the sites are made aboard a specially equipped dive boat. PADI, ANMP, CMAS and FFESSM-certified instructors ensure your safety and an unforgettable experience.
